辛瑪琳的人生Sinmalin
查汶．猜亞萬 Chaweng Chaiyawan
1975 年出生，紀錄片影像工作者、電視節目工程師，目前定居泰國清邁。2015 年以紀錄片《辛瑪琳的人生》獲得泰國影史上最老牌的影展——第 19 屆泰國短片與錄像藝術節之紀錄片專門獎項「公爵獎」（Duke Award）。2016 年他完成短片《最後的任務》（The Last Mission），由泰籍克倫族軍人的角度出發，探討泰國森林地徵收政策下克倫族的土地議題；細膩又衝突的敘事手法讓該片獲得第 20 屆泰國短片與錄像藝術節「R.D 佩斯唐吉獎」（R.D. Pestonji Award）最佳短片獎二獎。
Born in 1975, Chaweng Chaiyawan, lives in Chiang Mai and works in documentary film and television. “Sinmalin,” which is his first film, won the Best Documentary Award at the Thai Short Film and Video Festival in 2015.

在泰緬邊境的小鎮美索，緬甸女孩辛瑪琳（Sinmalin）過著和一般女孩無異的簡單生活。丈夫從曼谷回來，協助岳父的玫瑰園工作，兩人一同期待著新生命的到來。移居泰國五年多的辛瑪琳父親，從事農務工作養活一家九口。非法移工身份，只能辛勤工作領取微薄薪資，但一家人仍嘗試過著平靜且有尊嚴的生存方式⋯⋯。電影緩緩述說辛瑪琳的戀愛、結婚、參加別人的婚禮、迎接新生命的喜悅、丈夫的離去⋯⋯從辛瑪琳的人生，一窺居住在邊境的緬甸移工們的生活形態，以及他們與泰國僱主之間缺一不可的勞動關係。
This film highlights the situation of migrant workers in Thailand through the story of a Myanmar couple. These newlyweds moved to the Thai border town of Sinmalin to work in the agricultural industry. Life becomes more challenging after the wife becomes pregnant and the husband must do what he can to make ends meet.
