17年後，賽拉與沙林重返他們的家。斑駁的牆刻印著傷痕—2002年社區的一場暴亂，迫使他們逃離被毀滅的家園。重返現場，殘垣斷瓦仍記憶著那些他們試圖埋葬在心底的創痛。

 

The director follows Saira and Salim, a couple revisits their former home in Gujarat, India, which was burned down in the wake of inter-communal riots in 2002. Their walk down memory lane reveals the backdrop of ethnic tensions encapsulated in a historical event that some are trying to bury.

導演 Director | 艾思瓦雅．格羅維 Eshwarya Grover

​

視覺藝術家，大學修習建築之際與電影偶遇，深信電影是至關重要的媒介，得以捕捉一個空間內的情感，以及人們如何與之互動，或創造敏銳的潛意識空間。短片《牆的記憶》榮獲聖弗朗西斯學院女性影展（SFC Women’s Film Festival）最佳學生紀錄片。目前正在印度國立設計學院攻讀電影研究所。

Eshwarya Grover is a visual artist based in India. Her work draws from her training in both architecture and film, and one of her stated goals is to seek narratives in everyday humanity and to find comfort in the mundane.
