不願屈服傳統，墨西哥女歌者在街頭奏出生命樂章。
導演Doris Dörrie跟隨不同世代的女性Mariachi樂人，穿梭於台上台下的人生，在工作、母職和家務家輪轉，同時挑戰男性獨佔的有形與無形展演空間，在街頭放聲演唱，與男性Mariachi樂人互別苗頭。
「阿嬤家：和平與女性人權館」由婦女救援基金會設立，向二戰時獻身成為慰安婦的女性致敬。搭配歷史文件、視覺藝術、多媒體裝置，為犧牲奉獻的女性梳理個人敘事。
透過訴說女性的故事，重構過去與當代的全貌。在「阿嬤家」，我們以堅定的眼神直視每一位女性奉獻生命的故事，正如《我不在房間》正視每位樂人獨樹一格的生命歷程。「流浪厝邊唱」將放映打破性別框架的墨西哥女歌者紀錄片——《生命如此之重》，並安排導賞與映後咖啡時光。
Director Dorris Dörrie portrays the lives of female musicians in Mexico who work in the male-dominated profession of Mariachi music.
A moderated discussion will follow the screening, both of which will take place at the Ama Museum, a cafe and exhibition space run by the Taipei Women's Rescue Foundation. The museum commemorates the lives of "comfort women," a euphemism for those who were forced to work as prostitutes under the Japanese occupation during World War II.

歷時二十年被迫遠離家鄉索馬利蘭傳統歌者Sahra Halgan終於在2012年回歸故鄉。
1988年，索馬利蘭獨立戰爭爆發。Sahra以獨具一格的嗓音支持著前線士兵，因此被封名「鬥士」（halgan）。二十年流亡在外，Sahra Halgan持續為家國而唱、為引介故鄉文化與自由奔走。
本片紀錄Sahra Halgan走訪歷史記憶的埋藏地，以歌謠與故事訴說過往的黑暗，詠唱如今已回歸平靜的國土。
Sahra Halgan returns to her home country, Somaliland. After more than 20 years in exile in the West, she wants to make us discover her country in song, a country that is not recognised by the international community and of which quality images are rare. ‘Halgan’ (The Fighter) is the name given to her when she sang to the women and men fighting on the front in 1988, through a Somalilander pirate radio. Incontestably an icon of her country and unique international representative of her culture, she sings of peace, love and the memory of war. In this film, we will follow Sahra through the different places that marked the history of Somaliland. She will sing to us the stories of her life, the dark times of her past but also the joy of rediscovering today an appeased territory and population.
